Playful and unique earrings in handcrafted and hand stamped sterling silver.
All natural Saguaro Variscite with a black base and center blotches of pale sage green with golden brown webbing, very unique and eye catching up close.
This Saguaro Variscite is sourced directly from the miner in one of Nevadas numerous mining regions.
Earrings are set with simple French earwires for a playful drop styling. Due to the decent sized stones, they do carry a subtle weight to them, imo not heavy but noticeable enough. From top of ear wires down to the hand stamped drops below stone settings, they measure right around 1 7/8” long. Stones appear to be cut in half from the same slab, so they’re well matched, just one is a smidge larger. They weight 5.5g and larger one is 5.9g.
Backsides of earrings I have added a fossil leaf and shell printing for more ooak detailing.
Patina is added for definition in details and finished off with a light polish for some shine.
