Mexican Jelly Opals are by far my favorite gemstone, though I enjoy them all, these fiery orange beauties always bring a joyful smile to my face.
As for this specific Opal beauty, she has plays of color, from stains of navel orange, a glassy clear base and the most subtle shift of purple when the light hits just right.
This ring is a chevron shaped band in all handcrafted solid sterling and fine silver. Ring is a size 8, with 1/4” base and one flared side top measuring right at 1/2”.
Stone is an all natural collector quality piece of Mexican mine Jelly Opal. It has an irregular oval shape 3/8” by 1/4” in size.
Patina is added for definition in detail and finished with a nice shiny polish for some refinement.
