Handcrafted and casted sterling silver ring with a lovely dark green Malachite stone with swirls of black and a hint of pale blue Chrysocolla. The combination of the thick band and the striking cut and coloring of stone make this a perfect piece for a man or woman, the word "power" comes to mind when viewing the piece in entirety.
Band is made from a sand casting I did with a dried fern stalk that grows around my property. There is a channel design element to it from the ferns natural structure. The sand casting part adds a little more of a slight gritty organic appearance and creates a textured beauty. Ring is sized at 8 1/2 with a hefty thick band of approx. 4mm at thickest/widest points.
Stone is set in a simple sterling bezel that I think adds a touch of refinement to this piece. Stone is an irregular shaped rectangle measuring at widest points 3/4" long by 1/2" wide.
I have finished ring off with a medium patina and lightly polished for some shine. Stamped with .925 .
