Here we have a striking chunk of Ivory Creek Variscite set in a southwest inspired style.
All solid handcrafted sterling silver ring with a handstamped detailed border around stone setting and a nice thick hammered texture band. Ring is a size 8 and measures 1/4” wide band.
Ring surface measures right over 1” by 1”. Stone is a nice high domed rounded oval, all natural cut with a striking pale ivory white base and black veining. This rare material is most likely mined in Kazakhstan, also where the very popular Golden Hills turquoise is found.
Patina is added for definition in details and finished off with a soft polish for a hint of shine.
