All solid handcrafted sterling silver earrings made using vintage heart die impressions and then set with Amethysts and Garnets for a February to year round treat. Easy wearing post back style earrings measuring 3/8" in overall heart diameter.
Fun little insight into impressions. -When I say they are hand pressed from vintage impressions, these are done using a vintage replicated impression die that I have acquired for use in my jewelry making. The metal gets pressed into the die copy using the force from a jack for an exact replicated impression. I can't confirm the age of most dies but some can be around 200 years old or some as new as 20 year old copies of the originals. Pretty cool huh!
Patina is added for definition in detail and finished off with a light polish for shine.
