Here’s a fun geode and fossil filled beauty you can adorn yourself with!
Top stone is a cool half sliced nodule of azurite with Malachite swirls, also know as an Azurite Blueberry due to their blueberry like appearance when whole. Below that setting is a full spiral shaped slice of fossilized ammonite with rich golden brown tones. Please note these are natural raw minerals/fossils, they have a polished surface but due to their “softer” structures and natural forms, there are some surface pits and irregularities.
All solid handcrafted sterling silver design and set with a bar link style chain measuring 17.75” by 19” in total adjustable length.
From top of pendants bail down to bottom of ammonite fossil, it measures right over 2” long in drop and at widest side of ammonite is right over 1” wide.
The blueberry nodule has a reverse like settings with hand cut out wavy framing to pair with the wavy cutout I gave to ammonite as well. The azurite is domed on backside keeping intact its natural crystal formation.
Patina is added for definition in details and finished off with a light polish for shine.
All handcrafted in my personal home studio and made with love and good intentions!
* I would suggest storing this pendant separate from other jewelry and or in a cloth bag when not worn to prevent damage to these naturally softer stones. And the general rule of thumb with all jewelry, do not wear in pools, hot tubs, or while working with heavy cleaners and when doing strenuous activities. These tips will help ensure a long lasting and enjoyable piece of jewelry for years to come.
